Most browsers will put the files in your download folder. If you have customised the settings, then it is possible to be asked every time.
It is advisable to download to your local machine and then move to a network location.

Use the Desktop app to have the data automatically decompress the zip file and also check if there is enough space for the decompressed data in the target folder.
