When entering your MFA code, MX will now offer to remember the device you are logging in from, meaning it will not ask for another MFA code for 7 days. After 7 days, you will need to enter a new code and tick the box again.

You can do this for all devices that you regularly use and that are in your possession.

As this remembers the browser version and your IP address, either (1) an upgrade of that browser on your laptop / smartphone or (2) a change to your IP address will prompt MX to ask for another code - this is expected behaviour.

The MX team would not recommend enabling this setting for any shared machine or machine that changes hands frequently.
