MX will accept zip, 7zip (7z) or RAR file formats.

Password protected zip files can be read and the contents listed.

Password protected 7zip (7z) files cannot have their contents listed.

Zip has a limitation in terms of reading special characters, so if you have characters from non-English language, please use the 7zip file format, which will preserve the display of characters (and therefore can be searched more accurately on the Activity page).

Spanned archive files (7z.001) are not recommended because the file contents cannot be interrogated
